iqbqioza is a form of leetspeak that represents numbers with letters. It comes from my date of birth: October 24, 1989.

About Me

Hi! I’m Takuya (written in Japanese Kanji as 拓哉). I work across frontend, backend, and creative, and I’m primarily based in Niigata, Japan. From time to time, I’m also in Tokyo or Fukuoka. I love the Internet and programming, and I’m always excited to try new things as early as possible. Maybe that’s part of my frontier spirit, which is reflected in the meaning of the Kanji in my name.

How Can You Find Me On Social Media?

Unfortunately, I’ve mostly stepped away from the major social media platforms.

Personally, I find there’s simply too much noise on social media. I spend more time trying to figure out what’s real and what’s fake than actually enjoying it, and I don’t think that’s good for either my time or my mental well-being. I still have accounts on X(formerly Twitter), Facebook, Instagram, Threads, and other platforms, but I no longer update them.

These days, I’m on Nostr because I enjoy connecting with people in a way that feels closer to the original spirit of the Internet. Occasionally, when I come across a good video on YouTube, I’ll leave a comment for the creator, but Nostr is the only place where I actively interact with people.
